What I Wore for Christmas

Christmas is officially over and I couldn't be more saddened. The holiday is filled with cheery music, family, giving, and cozy sweaters. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year and an excellent time to dress your best. After all, you want to look your best while visiting family and give them another subject to brag about in next years family Christmas letter. (I'm only kidding... kind of.) So, as you await the new year to arrive, I thought I'd share with you what I wore this past holiday.

Christmas Eve

For me, Christmas begins on the 24th. We celebrate by heading over to my grandparents house to meet with extended family then finish off the night by going to my church's evening service. My favorite part of the entire day has got to be sitting in church with all of the lights dim as everyone holds a candle and sings "Silent Night." It's a moment I've always enjoyed since I was little and I don't think it would feel like Christmas if I ever missed it.

For this festive day, I wore a more basic and neutral outfit. I paired a plain gray turtleneck sweater with some H&M high-waisted jeans and added a long simple necklace. Then for blog pictures, I added some tinsel to make it extra festive.

Christmas Eve Night

When I was little, every Christmas Eve when we'd get back from church, two new presents would be sitting under the tree for my sister and me. Every year the tag would say that it was from our pets and inside would be a new pair of pajamas. As the tradition continues, the pjs seem to be getting even cuter! And pairing these London themed pjs with cat socks seemed perfect!

Christmas Day

It should be a rule that on Christmas day you must wear whatever clothes you received as gifts. I always get at least one shirt and I always wear it the day of. In this case, my parents gave me a DKNY sweatshirt that I really love. Not only is it stylish, but it's super comfortable. This year I spent Christmas sitting at home all day, so a comfy outfit was perfect.

Get The Look:

Christmas Eve:
gray turtleneck (not exact match)
skinny high-waisted jeans

Christmas Eve Night:
I couldn't find the exact match, however I found two similar ones by the same brand*
London PJ Set (with pants)
Scotties PJ Dress

Christmas Day:
DKNY sweatshirt
skinny high-waisted jeans

Thank you so much for reading, I know it's been a while. Hopefully you had a wonderful holiday and have a happy new year!!
